3 Steps To Create A Digital Vision Board

Life Vision.jpg

Everyone has a visual idea of what they want their life to look like. (And if you don't, you should!) A digital vision board is a simple yet powerful tool that can be used to help you create and manifest what you want to get out of life. Similar to a traditional vision board, a digital vision board is a collection of images that represents your life desires. Think about what you want out of life. Close your eyes. What do you see? That is your vision!

Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do. According to the popular book The Secret, "The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe."

If you're not familiar with vision boards, I highly recommend you Google it. At the top of 2015, many people (self-included) created vision boards to represent their desires for the year. Essence magazine featured an inspiring story of a former prisoner who used vision boards to turn her mistake into a thriving business. Click here to check out the article if you're new to vision boards. For those like myself, who created vision boards in January...here we are in July! Have you checked in with your vision board?

The second half of the year is the perfect time to check in with your vision, or create a new one! Digital vision boards are great because you can create them quickly, find pictures easily, and save your board as your screen saver on your phone (since we ALL look at our phones multiple times per day). Setting your digital vision board as your phone or computer screen saver will constantly remind you of the goals you've set for yourself.

So here's how you get it done:

Step 1: If you have a vision board. Review it. Remember the goals you identified when you created your vision board. If you don't have a vision board, start with this exercise. First, find a quiet space where you can relax and focus. Close your eyes and think about the life of your dreams. What do you see? How do you feel about what you see? Who is with you? What do you do for a living? How much money do you make? How do you dress? Where do you live? Are you married? Do you have children? What type of car do you drive? Open your eyes and write down all of the things you saw while visualizing. (If you want to go all the way digital use memo pad on your phone instead of writing it on paper)

Step 2: Go to Google and search for images that relate to your vision and goals. You can also use pictures from your life. Definitely add a picture of yourself to your vision. Check your instagram and facebook albums. Use your current website logo. Find pictures of yourself at the weight you want to get back to and screen shot, screen shot, screen shot!

Step 3: Use apps like photo grid or picstich to create a collage of the images you saved. If you have lots of pictures no worries, create more than one collage. (I found it helpful to organize my vision into life topics. The board pictured above is my overall vision for my life. Marriage, wealth, abundance, travel, beautiful home, twin girls, and all the best that life has to offer. The two pictured below are my professional visions followed by my health and spiritual visions.) Once you're done creating and organizing your vision board, save it to your phone or computer screen saver.

Now get to work! Everyday do one thing that will assist you in achieving one of your goals and watch the magic unfold. Before you know it you will be celebrating the manifestation of something that you created and attracted into your life.
